If you were looking forward to playing Conduit 2 sometime this year, you’re unfortunately going to be a little disappointed, as the next entry to High Voltage and SEGA’s first-person shooter franchise has been delayed until 2011.
The Wii shooter was originally meant to release (in the US at least) on November 2nd, but will now see the fluorescent light of a retailer in the first quarter of next year.
The good news for Wii owners, however, is that the developers will be adding support for the console’s Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro, so you’ll be able to take advantage of a more ‘traditional’ first-person control layout.
As already announced, Conduit 2 will make use of the Wii MotionPlus, as well as the stock-standard WiiMote and Nunchuck setup.
Also, if you happen to be attending PAX Prime in Seattle this weekend (starting today), you’ll be able to get some hands-on time with Conduit 2, courtesy of SEGA.
