One of the biggest releases of last week (in Europe and the UK) and this week (in the US) was Capcom’s Dead Rising 2, a harrowing zombie destruction simulator that puts you in the shoes of Chuck Greene, a fellow who is currently tasked with surviving the hostile advances of tens of thousands of zombies in a gambling paradise.
Luckily, Greene has a few… ‘tools’ at his disposal to take care of the zombie menace. ‘Tools’ like a hand-crafted, double-sided chainsaw pole, plus hundreds more.
Dead Rising 2 released on both Xbox 360 and PS3 (and will be releasing on PC shortly), and wouldn’t you know it, as with all big multi-platform game releases, we need to get the lowdown on which console spits the game out onto our screens better and faster than the other.
