Do you already own Sony and Quantic Dream’s masterpiece of an adventure game, Heavy Rain? And are you intrigued by what the newly-released PlayStation Move controllers can bring to the experience?
Well, if you’ve just bought a Move Motion Controller and you want to try playing something other than mini-games for five minutes, you’ll definitely want to download the PlayStation Move patch for Heavy Rain, which will allow you to use the Motion Controller in the game.
The patch (which is available now via the PlayStation Network) will essentially ‘convert’ your current copy of Heavy Rain into the upcoming release of Heavy Rain Move Edition, and will fix a few issues with the title and obviously add PlayStation Move support.
The patch weighs in at 1142 MB, and to get it you’ll need to sign into the PlayStation Network and spin up your copy of Heavy Rain to get the download notification.
Alternatively, for those of you who don’t yet have Heavy Rain or Move controllers, you can wait until the retail release of Heavy Rain Move Edition on the following dates (although it should already be available in North America):
- UK, Ireland: 8th October 2010
- Australia & New Zealand: 7th October 2010

all the updates for heavy rain have been large bandwidth-wise, but this is... huge! eish...
I think it will be worth it though....I'm definitely going to download it when it releases, and it's a nice excuse to play through Heavy Rain again!
