Were you looking forward to more downloadable content (DLC) for the excellent action thriller, Alan Wake, beyond the second piece of DLC? Did you want to embark upon further extended adventures and uncoil the gnarled mystery of Cauldron Lake?
Unfortunate.
Matias Myllrinne at developer Remedy has told Evil Avatar that Alan Wake’s second DLC pack, ‘The Writer,’ will be the game’s last piece of content when it releases later this year, saying that it will conclude the story and provide “intense action.”
No official price has yet been announced for ‘The Writer’ for Alan Wake, although it could be set at 560 MS Points. Similarly, no release date has been announced.
The Writer will only be Alan Wake’s second DLC pack, following on from The Signal which was released earlier this year.
We thought very highly of Alan Wake, so give El33tonline’s review of the game a read to see what it’s all about.
