Make it big in Hollywood… with a glimpse of cruelty? Help us solve the mystery!
Earlier today, South African videogame distributor Megarom dropped El33tonline an email which contained the following message:
“You may not know it but everyone can make it big in Hollywood… with a glimpse of cruelty!”.
Along with this mysterious message, we got three movie-style posters:
You can view larger versions of each poster below:
The mail we received was branded with Megarom’s Ubisoft banner, with trademark information related to Assassin’s Creed, if this even means anything.
Do you have a clue as to what these posters, and the message, may allude to?
Give us your ideas and answers in the comments below. We’re pretty much stumped!

Hmmmm....this really does have me stumped. Must be a spoof of something I think.
A little spy work, PI work, google work, and so forth, has revealed the following (I THINK):
BLOODY GOOD TIME
I used Saturday 14th as a hint, and checked out when next a Saturday 14th was, which was May 2011... is that possibly the ETA for release? Surely not, because that's too far away, and I've probably been taken down a red herring path.
Oh, and I first thought the DOLL fiction was a hint towards the Frag Dolls, so they really threw me off ;)
I think I'm still missing a trick... how did you arrive at your answer, Brattex?
(Keep in mind, I'm an infant.)
I feel so dirty having to explain my spy work, P.I. work, and google work :)
Visual clues: mostly all red herrings (things like release dates, actors' names, spoofs on actors' names, etc. that are present in the posters [Rickman, Coltrane, Watson, etc.]). Thought Doll Fiction was an UBISOFT reference to The Frag Dolls, but that also probably is a red herring.
Then I did some further digging and tried out the "lead roles" in Doll Fiction, and then ran a google check on those clues as well as the catch-phrase about making it big in Hollywood. Digging into the results revealed some opinions on "BLOODY GOOD TIME".
Searching for BGT on UBISOFT's website showed that it was "still coming" and I figured that ties in with my release date theory, as well as the announcement of something new that's not yet been revealed (why make a big song and dance about something that's already been revealed if this is to be the "big reveal"?). PLUS the synopsis for BGT is about Hollywood and gory FPS movie-making and it ties in with the overall theme of the posters.
That's about it, in a summary :)
Ah, thanks for the help!
These kinds of things always make me feel dumb... ;(
Well done Brattex! Looks like you're an excellent PI:
