The team at Firaxis has announced that a demo for Sid Meier’s Civilization V will become available later this year, ahead of the release of the full game in September.
This will give the legions of Civilization franchise fans an early sneak peek at the studio’s upcoming strategy game, as well as give unconvinced members of the gaming public an opportunity to see what all the fuss is about.
From a post on the official Civilization V website:
“The demo will be released in September, before the full game is released. More details about what will be available in the demo, as well as the exact release date are coming soon, so stay tuned!”
The full game releases on September 21st in the US and September 24th in Europe and the UK on the PC. A special edition will be available to celebrate the game’s release, but you know how else the release of Civilization V will be celebrated?
