Nintendo has announced that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will be launching on the DS across North America on the 29th of November.
The newest entry in the popular Golden Sun series takes places 30 years after the events of Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age for the GBA. It will offer players a “planet-sized world of adventure to explore and conquer,” placing the “raw power of the elements in players’ hands” as each of the game’s playable characters can now carry Djinn, spirits that fill their owner with unique abilities.
Players will be able to collect over 70 unique Djinn, allowing them to summon mighty deities to unleash attacks that fill both DS screens. You’ll be able to use Djinn powers to navigate dungeons and overworld environments, with players “flinging fireballs to burn away obstacles, freezing water to raise platforms, or summoning whirlwinds to create bridges out of floating objects.”
