Its new entries galore in this week’s Media Create Japanese Software Chart. First up is Monster Hunter Frontier Online which debuts at number 1 with 93 000 copies, earning the Xbox 360 a rare place in the Top 10 and an even rarer place in the top spot!
Love Plus for the DS is next, new at number 2 with 84 000 copies, while Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 3 for the PS3 enters the chart in third place with 54 000 copies and Tokimeki Memorial: Girl’s Side 3rd Story for the DS debuts at number 4 with 52 000 copies.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 falls to number 5 with 42 000 copies, having just climbed its way back to number 1 last week. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva for the PSP is new at number 6 for 29 000 copies followed by White Album for the PS3 which is new in seventh with 26 000 copies. Starry Sky: In Spring for the PSP is next, debuting at number 7 with 22 000 copies.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, now in its second week on the chart, drops seven places to number 9 with 20 000 copies. Art Academy for the DS rounds off the Top 10, moving down seven places to tenth with 20 000 copies after debuting at number 3 last week.
With seven new entries in the Top 10 this week a number of titles lose their regular footing. World Soccer Winning Eleven 2010: Blue Samurai Challenge for the PS3 drops to number 12 while the PSP version finishes the week at number 13. Friend Collection drops to number 14, Xenoblade to number 15 and Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City to number 16. Tamagotchi no Pichi Pichi Omisecchi plummets from last week’s number 6 to number 23.
