Just last week game developer Rare revealed a new logo and brand identity to celebrate 25 years in the videogame industry this year. Over this time we have enjoyed many titles from the developer, including its Donkey Kong Country and Banjo-Kazooie series, Perfect Dark, Viva Pinata and GoldenEye 007.

Now it looks as if the developer is set to continue the celebrations, possibly with a new game announcement. This after a countdown clock appeared on their official website. Not that it gives much away, mind you. Just an Xbox Live avatar and the words ‘One in a million,’ along with the clock of course which currently stands at ’07 days.’

So let’s see what we know so far: it’s E3 next week, tick; Microsoft’s E3 press conference is taking place in about 7 days, tick. Ok, that’s all we’ve got so far…what do you think dear readers?
