After a tuft of rumours emerged from cracks in the internet earlier this year, it’s seemingly been confirmed by Electronic Arts Montreal that the previously Wii-exclusive Dead Space: Extraction will be making its way onto the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade.
No release date or confirmed price has been set, but as per previous rumours, we may just be asked to pay $14.99 for the ‘guided shooter’ set in the futuristic, horror-filled world of Dead Space, a little later this year.
This would make the most sense if Dead Space: Extraction was optimised for use with the PlayStation Move and Xbox 360’s Project Natal - a light-gun shooter on a regular joypad usually offers no joy at all…
Have a look through El33tonline’s previous coverage of Dead Space: Extraction for a bunch of screenshots and information from the game, and read our review to see what we thought of it on the Wii (Hint: we thought it was ‘Excellent’).
