Curious.
Now why would the official PlayStation Twitter account link to the official website for Thief 4, accompanied by the effusive words “Oh man”?
This is especially curious for a game that’s only really been confirmed into existence, with no further details to accompany such a confirmation. Why would one platform holder show any interest in such a game at all?
Could we be seeing some sort of PS3-related Thief 4 announcement coming soon, such as E3 2010? An exclusive piece of downloadable content, or an exclusive partnership?
A timed-exclusive release on PS3, and then later on Xbox 360 and PC?
Am I simply overthinking this? Yes?
Perhaps.
We’ll just have to wait for the official announcement, whatever it may be, but until then you can hit up the Thief 4 website.
[Update] Dang, it seems as though Thief 4 won’t be making an appearance at E3 this year, as Eidos claims it’s solely dedicated to the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution. [End of Update]
