Marvel has finally announced when fans of LittleBigPlanet and Marvel’s enormous catalogue of characters will be able to enjoy a little fusion of the properties, as a host of super hero and super villain Sackboys and Sackgirls, as well as specially themed levels, are set to invade LittleBigPlanet real soon.
From July 7th on the PlayStation Network, LittleBigPlanet gamers will be able to start getting one new Marvel Costume Pack (containing five costumes apiece) every week, with a collection that comprises the following super heroes and super villains from Marvel:
- Captain America
- Daredevil
- Doctor Octopus
- Elektra
- Ghost Rider
- Green Goblin
- Hulk
- Invisible Woman
- Iron Man
- The Human Torch
- Magneto
- Mystique
- The Punisher
- Rogue
- Spider-Man
- Storm
- The Thing
- Thor
- Venom
- Wolverine
In addition, you’ll also be able to get your hands on the “magnificently massive” Marvel Level Kit, which includes “four levels of adventure pitting your Sackpeople against the evil plans of Magneto.”
“And of course, while you play through the levels, you’ll collect a huge assortment of Marvel-themed music, objects, materials, stickers and a special “Rooftop” background to help you CREATE your own fantastic levels.”
Sounds fantastic for Marvel fans!
Keep your peepers tuned to the Marvel website in the coming weeks (starting on Monday, June 28th) as the folks there unveil more information and art further explaining the costumes.

Exciting! I can't wait to see these.
Even though they've already named all of the characters that are going to appear, that silhouette image is still so mysterious!
I like the way the Doc Ock Sackboy is looming over everyone ;)
