While new and future PSPgo owners in PAL territories have a reason to get excited about the system thanks to the announcement of a great new promotion, PSP and PSPgo owners (new and potential) in the US also have something to shout about, with the reveal of a host of different price reductions on PSP games, special offers and newly inducted ‘Greatest Hits’ titles.
First of all, you’ll be able to take advantage of a few price reductions on something called the “Favorites” line of digital software, each going for $9.99, including the following:
- Ape Escape: On the Loose
- Buzz! Master Quiz
- Hot Shots Golf Open Tee
- LocoRoco 2
- Patapon 2
- PixelJunk Monster Deluxe
- SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo
- Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow
- Twisted Metal: Head On
Then, at retail, you’ll be able to buy a few new “Greatest Hits” PSP games, each of which will be available for $19.99. The list is as follows:
- Gran Turismo
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP system)
- Resistance: Retribution
- Secret Agent Clank
Lastly, if you buy a PSPgo from now until March 31st 2011, you’ll be in for a special three-game deal. From the US PlayStation Blog:
“If you purchase a PSPgo system from today through March 31, 2011, you will receive an e-mail with a PlayStation Network voucher to download three games absolutely free!
“With premiere titles such as LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, the PSPgo “Digital Game Pack” offers you an $80 value while giving you access to a great variety of our biggest games to get you started gaming on-the-go.”
Nice times for PSP times!
