Nintendo’s recently unveiled stereoscopic 3D handheld console, the 3DS, will see a number of new games from a multitude of developers and publishers in the coming months, but Nintendo itself is determined to provide gamers with their own brand of videogames to further flesh out the console’s software offerings.
Amongst these new titles from Nintendo is a new Nintendogs game called Nintendogs + Cats, which (you guessed it) will feature the addition of those unpredictable little fluff balls, ‘Cats,’ to the virtual pet simulator.
The game will include the same gameplay found in previous Nintendogs games, like interaction with a variety of toys, the ability to pet and walk your animals, plus the added functionality of facial recognition, which will have gameplay repercussions such as specific dogs recognising their owners.
