Mafia II is looking fantastic, and seems to recreate the time period of the 1940s (roughly) in pitch perfect detail.

Combined with the ‘Mafia’ theme to give it some flavour, as well as the open-world environments and third-person shooting action, all made by the studio that brought you the original (excellent) Mafia game, and we’re seeing a title that you should definitely look forward to when it releases in late August this year.

Mafia II will release in North America on August 24th and internationally on August 27th, on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
