During Sony’s E3 2010 press conference which wrapped up earlier today, the company officially announced and detailed a PlayStation Network subscription service called PlayStation Plus.
Available starting June 29th, PS3 owners will be able to join PlayStation Plus to receive “a whole host of premium and exclusive features, including games and content” worth roughly $300 a year, as well as “member only PSN features and much more.”
A subscription for one year will cost $49.99, or three months for $17.99.
