If you’re itching to get your hands on Microsoft and Ruffian’s upcoming open-world superhero action adventure game, going by the crunchy name of Crackdown 2, the pair of companies are happy to oblige, as they’ve just announced a demo for the game will become available early next week.
On June 21st, a demo for Crackdown 2 will hit Xbox LIVE Marketplace around the world. We don’t yet know the exact details and contents of the demo, but if Ruffian and Microsoft want to impress, they’ll give us some good looks at the weaponry, abilities and massive-scale combat scenarios present in Crackdown 2, as protagonists carve chunks out of crowds of ‘freaks.’
A taste of the four-player cooperative mode would also be nice, but that’s just wishful thinking…
The full game is out in North America on July 6th, in Europe on July 9th, and in Asia, Australia and New Zealand on July 8th.
Look out for it, but while you do, peek at El33tonline’s previous looks at Crackdown 2 for some videos, information and screenshots.
