Despite a 40% drop in sales compared to the previous week, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption has managed to remain the best selling title in the UK, appearing at No. 1 on Chart Track’s UK Software Sales Chart for the second week in a row.
This dominant showing relegates debut title UFC Undisputed 2010 to No. 2 during its first week on sale.
As always happens with a new title appearing near the top of the chart, there was a bit of a chart shuffle, as 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa (No. 3), Just Dance (No. 4), Wii Fit Plus (No. 5) and Split/Second (No. 6) all move down one place from last week, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 returns ‘from the dead’ (or, back into the Top Ten) by charting at No. 7, up from No. 11 last week.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands moves up to No. 8 from No. 9 last week, Lost Planet 2 shifts down from No. 7 to No. 9, and Wii Sports Resort moves up to No. 10 from No. 13.
Debut titles Alpha Protocol and Blur appear on the chart at No. 13 and No. 14 respectively, during their first week on sale.
