Capcom has announced that Super Street Fighter IV has shipped one million units worldwide, and that’s just the intial shipment. The game hit shelves across the US on the 27th of April with Europe following on the 30th.
The new and improved version of the excellently updated Street Fighter IV will include new characters, ultra combos, and online modes, as well as the return of the classic bonus stages and retuned offline and online gameplay. Players will also be able to download alternate costumes for all characters available.
Street Fighter first hit the arcades in 1987 with the popular Street Fighter II following in 1991. According to the publisher, the entire series has shipped over 28 million units on home consoles worldwide.
