Speaking at a conference during the European Institute of Design in Madrid, Spain recently, Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada announced that Tekken 7 is currently in the early stages of development and production.
Harada was at the conference to speak on the topic of “The Legend of Tekken,” and to relate to his audience the challenges that a technical manager such as himself must face during the lifecycle of a project, and also what skills such a person must possess.
Harada, who has been involved with Namco’s Tekken fighting series since its inception and has held the title of director of the franchise, let it be known during his talk that work on the seventh entry to the venerable series is underway.
El33tonline thought pretty highly of Tekken 6, as you can read in our review, so hopefully Tekken 7 will continue on its upward trajectory.
