You know, for some reason or other, I haven’t been ‘feeling’ Skate 3 in the midst of the run-up to the skating sim’s release this week.
The screenshots and trailers that EA and developer Black Box have put out in the last few months have been impressive, for sure, and I thoroughly enjoyed Skate 2, but for reasons unbeknownst to me, Skate 3 seemed like a miasma I could simply let blow over.
This new trailer for Skate 3, however, has finally switched something on, and all of a sudden I’m looking forward to the title. As a launch trailer, it doesn’t do anything spectacular, but it does effectively show off what’s great about skating in a videogame, and what’s great about Skate 3 in particular – multiplayer skating:

Skate 3 is currently available in the US on Xbox 360 and PS3, and will become available in the UK on May 14th (this Friday).
Maybe now would be a good time to go try out that Skate 3 demo…
