When Dead Space 2 was first officially announced, EA and developer Visceral Games confirmed that the next game in the action adventure horror franchise would appear on both the Xbox 360 and PS3, and have since then merrily gone about teasing further details related to the title through screenshots and trailers.
PC gamers, however, weren’t having any of it, and wanted to know if Dead Space 2 would be showing up on their gaming platform of choice, too. The original Dead Space was released for PC, after all.
Now, after EA announced its fiscal year 2011 release schedule last night, it appears as though Dead Space 2 will indeed be releasing on the PC alongside its Xbox 360 and PS3 brethren… as well as handhelds.
This fact was confirmed by a post on the official Dead Space Twitter account, which read:
“Dead Space PC lovers can relax! Dead Space 2 is officially coming to PC.”
Confirmed, For The Win, and all that jazz.
