Konami has revealed that a new Silent Hill game is currently in development for ‘next-gen consoles,’ so get your PS3 and Xbox 360 ready for more horror-filled third-person action.
Konami is working with a new, unknown developer on this new Silent Hill game, although no further details were provided, but a bevy of new information is promised for E3 in June.
The last Silent Hill title to release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 was Silent Hill: Homecoming, which while filled with the atmosphere and terror that previous franchise entries are known for, didn’t quite hit the spot.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii, PS2 and PSP, on the other hand, has been getting its fair share of rave reviews, so the franchise isn’t quite dead yet.
