Well this is a little disappointing, and unexpected even: The planned appearance of Cliff ‘Gears of War’ Bleszinski on tonight’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show has been postponed until Monday (April 12th) next week, seemingly to make way for an appearance by pop ‘star’ Justin Bieber, heretofore known as ‘The Beeb’ (not to be confused with the BBC).
The co-producer of the Late Night show, Gavin Purcell, tweeted the news:
“To all of my gaming peeps: Due to a scheduling conflict, [Cliff Bleszinski’s] appearance has been moved to Monday. Same awesome dude, new day!”
And while this may have been the perfect opportunity to throw his toys, Cliff ‘Dude Huge’ Bleszinski gave his own explanation of the delay, saying it mainly has to do with the fact that Epic wants to give a proper showing of the planned game reveal:
“As much as I’d like to start a fight with [Justin Bieber] the truth of the matter is that we wanted to take a couple more days to polish [what] we’re showing. Sorry all, appreciate your patience!”
Hmm. I never did like that ‘The Beeb’ kid…
