Ubisoft’s Just Dance on the Wii has managed to steal back the No. 1 position on Chart Track’s UK Software Sales Chart this past week after an incredible 56% increase in sales, making it the third time the game has appeared at the top of the list this year.
This means that Just Cause 2 (sales down 21%) moves down to No. 2 (from last week’s No. 1), but still remains the best selling game on both of the individual Xbox 360 and PS3 sales charts.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (sales down 7%) is a non-mover at No. 3, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 shifts up to No. 4 from No. 6 last week thanks to a sales increase of 52%.
Incredibly, Chart Track notes that since Modern Warfare 2’s launch 21 weeks ago, the game is still yet to drop out of the Top Ten in the sales chart, coming dangerous close to doing so in the last few weeks.
Pokemon SoulSilver (sales down 37%) falls to No. 5 from No. 2, Wii Sports Resort (sales up 52%) skips up from No. 9 to No. 6 this week, and Pokemon HeartGold (sales down 34%) tumbles to No. 7 from No. 4 last week.
Fifa 10 (sales up 70%) returns to the Top Ten by charting at No. 8 (from No. 12 last week), Wii Fit Plus moves up a place to No. 9, as does New Super Mario Bros. Wii up to No. 10.
