WarioWare: Do it Yourself is launching across Europe for the DS and DSi tomorrow, giving DS gamers the chance to create and share their own games and play over 90 microgames.
In true Wario style each microgame lasts no more than ten seconds, challenging players to see how many they can clear in a row. You’ll also be able to design your own microgame, making important decisions about graphics, animation, music and rules. Tutorials will guide you at first but pretty soon the sky will be the limit!
Creativity abounds
But what’s creativity if it can’t be shared? So you’ll be given the chance to submit your microgame relating to a certain theme each month, with Nintendo judging the entries and making the winning games available to download the next month.
Still feeling creative? Then why not draw four-panel black and white comics or create your own music using 90 sample songs and then share your creations with your friends.
And let’s not forget about WarioWare: Do it Yourself – Showcase for WiiWare which is also launching tomorrow for 800 Nintendo Points. The game enables you to transfer microgames, music and comics from the DS version of DIY to your Wii, which you can then enjoy using the Wii Remote. It also includes a selection of exclusive microgames which you can enjoy on the TV or transfer to your DS.
Cast your gaze downwards to see the microgames from WarioWare: Do It Yourself in action.
