Despite a 46% drop in sales, Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction has managed to hold onto the top spot on Chart Track’s UK Software Sales Chart this past week, while the publisher’s other chart dominating game, Just Dance (sales down 31%), remains at No. 2.

The chart continues to look familiar compared to last week as Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City (sales down 31%) is a non-mover at No. 3, and Wii Fit Plus (sales down 2%) steps up to No. 4 from No. 5 last week, while new title Monster Hunter Tri attempts to freshen things up by debuting at No. 5.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is shoved down to No. 6 from No. 4, Wii Sports Resort is a non-mover at No. 7, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 moves up to No. 8 from No. 9, Just Cause 2 drops to No. 9 from No. 6, and Pokemon SoulSilver hangs on to the Top Ten by charting at No. 10 (from No. 8 last week).

The only other new title to release in the UK last week, Dead to Rights: Retribution (developed by Volatile games and published by Namco Bandai, available on Xbox 360 and PS3), debuted at No. 22 on the sales chart.
