Harmonix and MTV Games have revealed the full tracklist for Green Day: Rock Band. The game will include 47 tracks on-disc when it launches on the 8th of June for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
The tracklist includes a collection of greatest hits and fan favourites, including songs from two of Green Day’s most popular albums, Dookie and American Idiot. Gamers will also be able to play the album 21st Century Breakdown in its entirety when paired with the six tracks from that album which are already available as DLC in the Rock Band Music Store. The tracklist will be fully exportable.
You’ll be able to play the tracks in three different venues, The Warehouse (“a fictional venue that captures the feel of early Green Day shows and performances”), Milton Keynes (“the UK concert made famous by Green Day’s 2005 movie for “Bullet in a Bible”), and The Fox Theater, Oakland (“the place where Green Day performed an intimate show for the band’s most recent album”).
The game, which features the likenesses of the band members, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool, allows players to perform vocals, guitar, bass and drums. It also includes the three-part vocal harmonies which Harmonix first introduced with The Beatles: Rock Band. Players will be able to test out these three-part vocal harmonies with the on-disc setlist and also when importing Green Day DLC tracks. Players will unlock collectible images and unreleased video footage of the band as they progress in the game. The game is compatible with all Rock Band instrument controllers as well as most Guitar Hero and third party peripherals.
Green Day is as pleased as punch about the upcoming game. “Seeing ourselves through the lens of this videogame has been mind blowing,” said Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong. “From the soundtrack setlist and venues to the unlockable video footage and photos, Green Day: Rock Band undeniably manages to capture the best moments and work of our insane careers. We can’t wait for our fans to experience it.”

Not a lover of Green Day I take it - I'll take your name off the review list then...tick.
I have to say that I'm not a huge Green Day fan either. I like a few of their songs, but not enough to buy a game dedicated exclusively to their music. GH: Metallica was the crim de la crim of rhythm games for me. I'm still wishing for some dlc for that game, though I know that day will never come.
