[Update] EA and Epic Games have formally announced the existence of Bulletstorm - get the details of the arcade shooter over here. [End of Update]
By now, we are more than aware that Epic Games is working on Gears of War 3, after a bit of a botched announcement schedule and the inevitability of it all.
But what else is Epic working on, and when can we discover more details regarding this new game?
When the studio’s Cliff Bleszinski finally manages to appear on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show tonight to unveil what the developer is keeping himself busy with, he’s all set to reveal not one but two games, as he revealed on his Twitter account:
“NEWSFLASH: Two announcements about two upcoming games on Monday. BOOM!”
So if one of the games is Gears of War 3, what’s the other game? Well, if the latest cover of gaming magazine Game Informer is any indication, it could very well be the ultra violent arcade shooter in development at People Can Fly, Bulletstorm:
Epic Games, if you’ll recall, acquired a majority stake in Polish game developer People Can Fly (Painkiller) in August 2007, while a year later in 2008, it was announced that EA was to publish an action game co-created by People Can Fly and Epic Games, later revealed to be named Bulletstorm.
Up until now, and the Game Informer cover story, we haven’t heard much about this game, so it’s quite likely that Bleszinksi will more fully unveil Bulletstorm when he appears on late night American television tonight… but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Comments:
I just have to agree on what the Epic Games President Dr. Michael Capps has said about this game. "Bulletstorm is the kind of game we love to make because it’s pure, unadulterated entertainment.” Can't wait for its release! :)
