Brand new Crysis 2 screenshots released to punch you in the eyes
EA has punched through two brand new screenshots for Crytek’s upcoming multiplatform first-person shooter, Crysis 2, to show off snapshots of what are hopefully in-game action sequences, with slightly better looks at the new urban environment and the upgraded Nanosuit from the first game.
Have a good look at the Crysis 2 screenshot duo below:
Crysis 2 looks to be releasing at the end of the year, according to EA’s latest release schedule, so you should definitely look forward to this visual bonanza on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in the last quarter of the year.

nice screenies! will be interesting to see how the XBOX and PS3 compare to the PC edition. Crysis 1 did not do too much in innovation, but what it did do well was the intense graphics! its now almost 3 years old and still looks better than most games. however, it also still kills most PC hardware.
Crytek has proven themselves with sheer genius coding abilities, so i am sure they will do just fine :)
I have a little feeling that Crytek are going to pull something very special (visually, at least) out of the hat at the end of the year that's going to show up the other benchmark titles we have on the consoles at the moment.
As for the PC version specifically compared to the console versions... I'm sure Crytek will have a few special tweaks and buttons for the hardcore to crank the visuals to oblivion, and create another new game that will last for the next three years. ;)
I'm calling BS on those "screenshots"
The blatantly look like ocncept art images.
