Capcom has announced that videogame industry veteran David Reeves will be joining the company as Chief Operating Officer of CE Europe, Capcom’s European subsidiary.
As of April 1st (what a day to start), Reeves will oversee all aspects of European operations at Capcom, with the responsibility to “maximise potential revenue and explore new areas for growth throughout the region.”
David Reeves is, of course, the former president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, retiring early last year after spending 14 years with Sony and supervising the launch of the PlayStation brand throughout Europe.
David Reeves said of his appointment as CE Europe COO:
“I established a close working relationship with Capcom during my time at Sony and have always admired its commitment to push boundaries and develop innovative titles. It is therefore a real pleasure to now join this organisation and be a part of its future successes.”
