Capcom recently announced price and date details for Final Fight: Double Impact, the publisher’s double offering of face-lifted classic arcade side-scrolling brawlers, which combines both the original Final Fight and Magic Sword into one downloadable package.
Final Fight: Double Impact not only comes standard with the aforementioned games, but also includes online multiplayer support, new visual filters (‘smooth’ and ‘crisp’) and unlocks, original remixed soundtracks, online leaderboards, as well as a special arcade cabinet play mode.
You’ll be able to purchase and download Final Fight: Double Impact on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on April 14th for 800 MS Points, and the PlayStation Store on April 15th for $9.99.

Final Fight: Double Impact Trailer
Final Fight:
“Players follow the heart-pounding adventures of Cody, Guy, and Haggar – three heroes fighting their way across crime-ridden Metro City in hopes of saving Haggar’s daughter from the evil clutches of Mad Gear. There are 6 stages filled with perilous challenges where the only hope for justice is the unique fighting techniques mastered by each character.”
Magic Sword:
“Players will take on the role of the “The Brave One,” a fierce warrior who bears the daunting responsibility of cleansing evil forces from an ancient tower. As a consequence of his actions, he will inevitably meet the source of this scourge upon humanity – the dark lord Drokmar.
“But fear not as the hero is accompanied by eight allies who will lend their assistance through out the game. All of them bring specific skills and talents to contribute to the fight. It’s an amazing side-scrolling action illustrated in classic fantasy stylings, making a perfect pairing with Final Fight.”

Comments:
Now that's what I'm talking about! Classic arcade action. I still have Final Fight for the SNES, but I may be tempted to pick this up. They just need to re-release Double Dragon now too.
Nothing beats nostalgia-inducing arcade action!
Mm, I can almost taste the smell of stale cigarette smoke lingering in the local arcade hall, while the epic noise and rumbling confusion created by dozens of machines almost melted into a harmonious melody of sound, as Ryu's 'Hadouken' or the scream of an attract screen pierced through the thunder.
Good times. I wish they would come back.
