A post up on the US PlayStation Blog has announced that Heavy Rain’s first chapter of downloadable content (DLC), The Taxidermist, will soon become available through the PlayStation Store for everyone who didn’t pre-order the game or pick up the Collector’s Edition.
On April 1st this DLC, which features journalist Madison Paige in one of her first cases as she hunts down a serial killer, will be yours to own for $4.99, and will form but one part of the planned series of Heavy Rain Chronicles, each segment of which will offer “unique, stand alone playable short stories featuring one of Heavy Rain’s main characters, and a storyline taking place either before or after Heavy Rain’s original narrative.”
