Rebellion has said today that it will soon release a patch for the recently released Aliens VS Predator, which the studio says is a result of “analysis of player feedback” (the patch, not the game… oh ambiguity…).

Following the release of updates to the PC version of the game, as well as the integration of a dedicated server client, it’s now the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions’ turn, as the studio says:

“We are aware of and grateful to the community for communicating with us and helping this process along. The updates are going through rigorous QA and we hope to have them available publicly very soon.”

Amongst the list of additions, improvements and fixes we can expect from the incoming Aliens VS Predator patch are balancing and weapon tweaks, reduction in ranked match waiting times on Xbox LIVE, support for southpaw players, team balancing fixes for certain online play modes, and fixing the current troubles with XP being incorrectly affected by offline play.

Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley said:

“We’ve been overwhelmed with the response to AVP and want our fans to know if it’s within our power to keep them happy through on-going support then we shall do so. Some things just can’t be foreseen and it’s great that we are able to respond to requests for modifications in this way.”
