Lara Croft’s newly announced next adventure, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, has been priced for Xbox LIVE Marketplace, the PlayStation Network and PC, and will be releasing this Summer according to developers Crystal Dynamics.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, a two-player cooperative affair that is set to feature all of the action and puzzle-solving you’ve come to expect from previous Croft games, only from a different perspective, has been priced at $15 across all platforms, and is said to offer around six hours of gameplay, while providing a level of quality equal to (and perhaps even exceeding) other downloadable titles such as the excellent Shadow Complex.
Players will take on the mantle of either Ms. Croft herself, or a Mayan tribesman going by the name of Totec, both of whom have access to special abilities that will help them progress further into the game, and help them discover the mystery behind an evil spirit called Xoxolt.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was recently revealed in all its in-game glory with a set of impressive screenshots, which you can view over here.
