As previously alluded to, the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack has been officially named by Activision, and has been confirmed to be releasing on March 30th.
Entitled the Modern Warfare 2 ‘Stimulus Package,’ the map pack will include brand new multiplayer maps for the behemoth first-person shooter, and will remain exclusive to Xbox 360 for a period of one month.
As mentioned by Major Nelson the other day, Xbox LIVE Silver members who would like to try the new maps out for size will able to hop onto the service this weekend, as Microsoft is holding a Multiplayer Unlock event from March 12th until March 15th to allow all and sundry to get a taste of the Xbox LIVE Gold ‘good life.’
