Ubisoft and Eugen Systems’ intriguing real-time strategy game R.U.S.E. now has an official early June release date attached to it, but for those of you looking forward to outwitting and outplaying your opponents in the field of war, you’ll fortunately not have to wait that long as you now have access to the PC Public Beta Test through Steam.
The R.U.S.E. Public Beta Test is now available for download and installation through the Steam digital distribution service, in which you’ll be able to choose to play as one of the six factions present in the game (namely Germany, France, Italy, the US, the UK and the USSR) and learn how to play while training against the AI on a map called ‘Blitz’ before heading into multiplayer.
Once in multiplayer, you’ll have access to seven maps (with settings such as 1 VS 1, 4 VS 4 and free for all) while testing your skills of trickery and subterfuge by using the 10 available ruses to tempt and lure enemies in one of the three game modes.
R.U.S.E. is set to release on June 3rd in Europe and June 4th in the UK, on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
