After the release of the Aliens VS Predator multiplayer demo on Thursday across the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, there was much rejoicing, only a few… problems cropped up on the PC and PS3 versions of the demo related to the matchmaking system, resulting in players having to wait for long periods of time to get into a match, or not even getting in at all.
Since then, the PC version has been fixed, but the PS3 version is yet to receive such an update.
Rebellion recognises that there are currently some frustrating issues plaguing the PS3 version of their Aliens VS Predator multiplayer demo, and are currently working on a fix. A Rebellion spokesperson said:
“Since our earlier update regarding successful patching of the PC demo of AvP, we’ve been working with Sony and SEGA on investigating reports of a similar issue from some PS3 owners.
“Tests so far have shown a significant improvement, but we’re not yet finished with the fixes. The team will be working over the weekend to make it even better for players.”
In the meantime, Rebellion has released a video showing you how to survive in the cruel, vicious world of Aliens VS Predator when it comes to close quarters combat, and to help you hopefully avoid getting your face and/or head ripped off. Enjoy below:

Comments:
So once again the ps3 gets the shaft... This makes up my mind before I even "GET" to play it.. No purchase for me
Keep in mind, though, that this is the demo, and that any fixes they cook up now will work their way into the full version on release, most likely through a patch (it's probably too late to 'stop the presses' and get it on the disc, but I've been wrong before...).
