Sega is busy working on Iron Man 2: The Video Game, a multi-platform title expected to be released in 2010 alongside the sequel to the popular Paramount Pictures movie of the same name.
We already knew that James Rhodes, aka War Machine (played by Don Cheadle), would be playing a big part in the Iron Man 2 movie. Now this new trailer from Sega shows that War Machine will be included in the videogame too. However, the question that begs to be answered is how big a role will he play?

As you can see it shows Tony Stark (aka Iron Man, played once again by Robert Downey Jr in the movie) teaming up with War Machine and could suggest that co-op multiplayer may be included in the game.
Sega and Marvel will be collaborating closely on the project and hope to deliver an authentic Iron Man experience, allowing players to feel the power of Iron Man with new destructible environments, epic enemies (including Crimson Dynamo, not found in the film) and innovative hand-to-hand combat moves (even Kung Fu!) as well as a redesigned control system.
Comic book author Matt Fraction will be creating the new story, which will include elements from both the movie and the comic book universe.
Iron Man 2: The Video Game will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii and DS in Spring 2010.

Hi, Iron Man is, far and away, the best film adaptation of a comic book 'origin story' that I have seen adapted to film. Marvel is certainly on a roll at the movies, but the real genius here is not just in the original material. The casting, script and directing make Iron Man a thorough-going success.
