Scribblenauts crosses the 1 million sales mark

Scribblenauts BoxartScribblenauts, the wonderfully creative DS game that Warner Bros unleashed on the unsuspecting public last year September, has found its way into one million homes around the world.

Scribblenauts is a 2D platform game in which you’re tasked with collecting an object called a Starite in every new level. But how you get them is completely up to you as the game allows you to type in the name of almost literally any object you can think of (from wings, jetpacks and ladders, to tanks, guns, boats and animals) or combine countless objects to create original scenarios.

Interactive Entertainment. “Scribblenauts is one of our strong original brands, and we look forward to bringing consumers more quality gaming experiences as part of our portfolio game strategy.”

I hope they bring out a sequel to correct the shortcomings of the original. A game with lots of potential!

I've heard they're intent on bringing the game to home consoles via download, and the fact that it's sold 1 million copies means they have to at least consider making a sequel to hopefully correct whatever flaws the original may have had.

So... yes? ;)
