Q-Games has confirmed that a sequel to the popular PixelJunk Racers is in the pipeline.
This comes after the ESRB revealed last week that PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap was en-route to the PS3. At first Dylan Cuthbert, president and executive producer of Q-Games, denied the game’s existence – a post on his Twitter account read “no idea…the ESRB always randomly rate randomly named games from randomly unnamed sources.”
However, Cuthbert has since decided to come clean, confirming that the game is real and promising to reveal more information on the game soon. “Keep an eye out for Racers 2nd Lap news, we should release more detailed info soon.”
PixelJunk Racers was released on the PlayStation Store in 2007, while the latest title in the PixelJunk series, PixelJunk Shooter, was released in December 2009. El33tonline enjoyed Shooter and you can read our review to find out why.
