The last time Capcom promised fans that a big announcement was imminent, it resulted in the news that online PC and PS2 game Monster Hunter: Frontier would be making its way to the Xbox 360 – certainly good news for fans, but not really anything to write home about.
Now, John Diamonon from Capcom has popped up on the US PlayStation Blog to reveal that a “huge announcement” from the publisher is imminent. From the post:
“Oh, one other thing. I’ll be back in April for a huge announcement. Stay tuned and let the speculation begin!”
That was the extent of the message, but as far as the “speculation” goes, can we assume that, seeing as though this ‘announcement’ was made on the PlayStation blog, the reveal has something to do with PSP or PS3?
Let the speculation begin indeed!

Comments:
Could it be an all new Mega Man game? A new Resident Evil perhaps? Probably neither. We will see.
Yeah, for a company with such an extensive backlog of intellectual property, it's pretty difficult to just guess what's going to be announced.
With these kinds of things, I prefer to just wait and be surprised, rather than hurt my brain trying to come up with the right answer, only to be foiled at the last minute ;(.
