Microsoft and Remedy have together unveiled the official box art for what many have taken to calling a ‘psychological action thriller,’ throwing in the word ‘masterpiece’ afterwards even though it’s not due for release until May 18th in the US and May 21st in Europe.
When those dates hit, however, and you’re looking through the shelves of your favourite videogame retailer for Alan Wake, you’ll know exactly what to look out for, thanks to the thoughtfulness of the aforementioned companies in providing you an advance look at the game’s box art.

Alan Wake has certainly been a long time coming, but will finally arrive in May this year on Xbox 360.
