Ubisoft has revealed a few more details about the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the Wii, along with the first screenshots from the Wii version of the game.
Ubisoft’s Quebec City Studio is in charge of development and promise to deliver a new Prince of Persia adventure built from the group up for the Wii, one that makes use of the full graphical capabilities of the Wii.
The game is a new installment in the Sands of Time universe and sees the Prince drawn towards a mysterious realm where he must use his acrobatic abilities and powers over the environment to survive and save this palace from evil.
Players will use the Prince’s acrobatic skills to make their way through traps, take on enemies and solve puzzles, harnessing the Prince’s power over sand to uncover new areas. The Wii version of the game features 15 hours of original storyline as well as alternate paths, secret areas and unlockables.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is scheduled to be released for the Wii on the 18th of May. The game will also be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, DS, PSP and PC in May. Don’t miss our previous coverage for more information about the game, including the debut trailer and screenshots.
