The on-again-off-again downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: Origins, Return to Ostagar, is now finally officially available for purchase and download on PC and Xbox 360. The PS3 release of the DLC is still pending.

This release follows a bit of a tumultuous time for the DLC, as it was delayed from its original release date, released a little while later and then removed a few hours after that due to extreme problems introduced with a related title update.

The DLC was then delayed a little bit further in the wake of major development pipeline changes at Bioware, which the studio promised would lead to improved turnaround for subsequent DLC and add-on releases.

All seems to be well with Return to Ostagar for Dragon Age: Origins now, though, so if you’re still keen, you can pick it up on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 for 400 MS Points, or through Bioware’s site for the PC for 400 Bioware Points.
