Australian-based developer Nocturnal will be launching Flowerworks: Follie’s Adventure on WiiWare this Friday. It will be available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand for 500 Wii Points.
Flowerworks is an action adventure game that has been built from the ground-up for the Wii. It was under development for over 18 months and, as the name suggests, combines flowers and fireworks.
The game sees players taking on the role of Follie, a friendly alien who crash lands on a mysterious planet called Elilia while transporting a cargo of Flowerworks seeds. Follie discovers the planet is lacklustre and sets out to recover her seeds and grow Flowerworks, transforming the planet as she goes.
To bring you up to speed, Flowerworks: Follie’s Adventure is an upgraded version of Flowerworks, which is available on WiiWare in the US. The game boasts a couple of new features, including two player co-operative play, a new beginner difficulty level for younger players and a new mastery difficulty level for advanced players. You’ll also be able to play the game in three additional languages (Spanish, German and French) and enjoy a new special reward for completing the game.
