NPD: Xbox 360 sells 325K in October, Fable III 580 000 copies
Following the release of the NPD October sales report, Microsoft was quick to reveal a few stats of their own.
Microsoft revealed that the Xbox 360 sold 325 000 units, making it the best-selling console in October. The Xbox 360 was the only system to increase unit sales year-on-year. The publisher also announced that the Xbox 360 is the best-selling console in the US so far in 2010 with 3.5 million units sold to date.
Microsoft also revealed that Fable III sold 580 000 copies to claim second place on the Top 10 Games chart, while Halo: Reach sold 315 000 copies to claim sixth place.
