Konami has announced and detailed the first set of downloadable content (DLC) for the recently released Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.
Oh, yeah… in other news, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 released today across Europe and the UK.
!
The upcoming DLC for PES 2011 will be free to download for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gamers next week, on October 12th, and according to a press release, it will bring the game’s player roster files completely up-to-date, while clubs that qualified for the UEFA Champions League Group Round will be added to the game’s dedicated mode.
In addition, a few of the team kits have been updated to be more in line with the current versions, and four more licensed football boots have been included.
The DLC also includes “three new wallpapers featuring cover star Lionel Messi in the ‘Extra Content’ folder.”
Hmm… sounds more like a ‘patch’ than true ‘DLC,’ but if it improves the game, fun’s fun, right?
Right?
Have a good rummage through El33tonline’s previous coverage of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for batches of screenshots, videos and more information, and don’t forget about the game’s release today!
Sad news for fellow South Africans though: After looking around it seems as though PES 2011 only releases next week in the country, on October 15th.
