Nintendo loves to celebrate, doesn’t it, and when you’re king of the console world, why not?
After only recently announcing that a special celebratory red Wii will go on sale in November to recognise the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., the company has revealed that not one but two limited edition DSi handheld consoles will also be available in November to commemorate the whopping launch success of Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.
Going on sale in Japan on November 20th, and retailing for ¥19 800 (rough $240), the pair of consoles will be available in both (you guessed) black and white variations, with a bit of nifty artwork included to differentiate them from regular DSi consoles.
The special edition handhelds will also come bundled with a copy of the game (presumably Pokemon Black with the black DSi, and Pokemon White with the white DSi, but you never know…).
Have a look at the two consoles below:
Pokemon Black and White recently massacred the Japanese Software Sales Chart, selling over 2.3 million copies in the space of only two days!
