Did you think that Nintendo’s DSi XL ‘technicolour makeover’ was only going to be offered to gamers overseas? Well think again, because Nintendo of South Africa recently announced that the handheld console will be available in the country in three brand new colours starting tomorrow, October 8th!
In addition to the Wine Red and Dark Brown consoles, Yellow, Green and Blue DSi XL variants will be making their way to retailers tomorrow, but still giving you the same enhanced DS experience.
Featuring a 93 percent bigger touch screen and a bigger play screen, a wider viewing angle, and a larger pen-like stylus, the DSi XL is the ultimate version of Nintendo’s DS - it’s definitely true that once you try the XL, regular DS consoles just won’t do! (Just ask El33tonline’s EIC!)
All great new consoles need to be put to the test with great new software, so it’s a great coincidence that Professor Layton and the Lost Future will be releasing in South Africa on October 22nd just for this very purpose! Featuring 165 brand new brain teasers, riddles and logic puzzles, the game will be perfect to play on a super-sized DSi XL!
Be sure to look out for the three new DSi XL colours tomorrow!
